Originality & Innovativeness
• Our brain derives pleasure from processing
new and unfamiliar objects
• We are often attracted by new, unusual &
innovative products
• A series of experiments by Leder and Car bon
concerning the role of innovativeness in car
interior design
• Participants preferred the curved versions to
the edged versions

For many product designers the consideration of
product colour is often an oversight.
Consumers place visual appearance and color
above other factors such as sound, smell and
texture.
Critical importance especially in fabrics and
textile designs
Colour

HANDMADE-MASS PRODUCED
