Our group researched how other films attract audiences. I looked specifically at thriller films like Insidious. We used social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, which have hundreds of millions of users, to promote the film and spread news about it. The photo on the website does not reveal too much due to it being a psychological thriller. We also aim to intrigue audiences by offering free premiere tickets to those who spot the man in the photo at various screenings across major UK cities. Facebook, with over 800 million users, is an effective way to interact with audiences by keeping them updated on film information and running prize draws.
