2. Researching Other Films
As a group we decided it would be important at
looking how people address their audiences and
entice potential viewers. To do this I thought it
would be good to make it relatable so I only looked at
films that were under thrillers and continued from
there. We decided to look at Insidious.
4. Website Information
We used social networks to attract people and with
hundreds of millions of people on both Facebook and
Twitter it is a practical and easy way to get news out
about your film
As you can also see the photo doesn’t give too much
away (due to it being a physiological thriller)
Finally we have enticed the audience by telling them
that if they see the man in the picture before the
opening of the film then they get free premiere
tickets and he will be in all major cities in the UK-
this is a way of keeping the audience gripped
6. Facebook Page Information
With over 800 million people on Facebook we feel
that it is one of the most effective ways of interacting
with audiences
It keeps them up to date with all the film
information- with everything from releases to lucky
prize draws
It finally lets you ‘share’ with friends and you may
communicate with them tag it in status’ and so much
