TO KEEP PEOPLE TOGETHER AND TO HONOR
LONG-SERVING EMPLOYEES. IT ENABLES
PEOPLE TO MEET REGULARLY, EVEN AFTER
RETIREMENT.
The members will jointly and proudly cement the Atlas Copco
culture and spirit.

HISTORY
 The Gold Club was established in
Sweden in 1968.
 The initiative was taken by Kurt-Allan
Belfrage, President and CEO at the time.
 Belfrage wanted to honor the people that
have served and contributed to the
development of the company for 25
years or more.
 Sweden had then 4 000 employees.
 The initial number of gold club members
were 490.

When, where and why?
HOW IT STARTED
 Anyone who has worked for the Group for
25 years can become a member of a Gold
Club.
 It doesn’t matter if it is an unbroken
employment or of you add up different
periods that you have worked for Atlas
Copco.
 Should you be working for an acquired
company, you can count in all the years
you have worked for that company to
reach the 25 years. The only condition is
that you also have been part of the Group
for five years.

The Atlas Copco Gold Pin (the badge of
merit) is the common symbol for
employees and retired employees who
are members of the Atlas Copco Gold
Club. All members of the Atlas Copco
Gold Club have the right to carry the pin.

  • 2. ATLAS COPCO’S GOLD CLUB IS ESTABLISHED TO KEEP PEOPLE TOGETHER AND TO HONOR LONG-SERVING EMPLOYEES. IT ENABLES PEOPLE TO MEET REGULARLY, EVEN AFTER RETIREMENT. The members will jointly and proudly cement the Atlas Copco culture and spirit. 2

HISTORY  The Gold Club was established in Sweden in 1968.  The initiative was taken by Kurt-Allan Belfrage, President and CEO at the time.  Belfrage wanted to honor the people that have served and contributed to the development of the company for 25 years or more.  Sweden had then 4 000 employees.  The initial number of gold club members were 490. 4 When, where and why?
  • 6.  Anyone who has worked for the Group for 25 years can become a member of a Gold Club.  It doesn’t matter if it is an unbroken employment or of you add up different periods that you have worked for Atlas Copco.  Should you be working for an acquired company, you can count in all the years you have worked for that company to reach the 25 years. The only condition is that you also have been part of the Group for five years. MEMBERSHIP Conditions 6
  • 7. The Atlas Copco Gold Pin (the badge of merit) is the common symbol for employees and retired employees who are members of the Atlas Copco Gold Club. All members of the Atlas Copco Gold Club have the right to carry the pin. THE GOLD PIN 7
  • 8. 25 YEARS IS A LONG TIME They stay because it is a sound business with strong values where people have the opportunity to grow ”Why do people stay so long at Atlas Copco?” They stay because of the people. It is all about friendship and pride. The Atlas Copco spirit is unique. Membership in a Gold Club ensures that you keep the Atlas Copco family network and meet colleagues and friends, old and new, on a regular basis also after retirement.
