3. American TESOL Institute’s Hybrid Program is a face-to-face interactive 20 hours course which also includes 80-200 hours of online study. This course has been designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain direct, personal contact with an experienced TESOL instructor, and to help individuals understand the different factors and elements that influence and stimulates effective teaching; therefore, the course focuses on the different ways, skills, methods, approaches, procedures and techniques that makes it easier to teach ESL.

The course is offered on scheduled dates (Wednesdays to Fridays), in small groups of between five to ten students. Students are recommended to have access to a computer and, if possible bring a lap-top for in- class work. Students without lap-tops are welcome but must bring a notebook and materials for documenting the class as an important learning strategy for all current and prospective teachers.
