This document summarizes an international merit scholarship offered by QUT's Science and Engineering Faculty. It is available to eligible international students undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees. To qualify, students must be offered admission based on completing overseas qualifications with the required results and meet QUT's English language requirements. The scholarship provides a 25% tuition fee sponsorship for the first semester and ongoing if a minimum GPA is maintained each semester. Minimum academic requirements to be considered include completing high school with comparable results to an ATAR of 95 or having a recognized bachelor's degree with a 6.0 GPA. No separate application is required - eligibility is assessed during the admission application process.

International Merit Scholarships
Faculty tuition fee sponsorships are available to eligible students admitted based
on qualifications completed outside Australia
What you receive:

A tuition fee sponsorship of 25% of the first semester fees, based on your
entry score.
An ongoing tuition fee sponsorship of 25% per semester on the condition you
maintain a minimum 5.75 grade point average (GPA) on the QUT 7-point
scale for each semester of study at QUT.
