management system to AISC standards. Inspect welds daily der AWS D1.1 table 6.1. Oversee all
inspectors and ensure the quality of Yard Irons products. Test all welders to AWS D1.1 and
maintain a continuity log for processes, positions and thicknesses for weldability. Write weld
procedures for both FCAW and GMAW per AWS D1.1. Conduct monthly training for welders,

Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector/CWI- As the CWI I performed visual inspection
on 100% of structural welds. I qualified all welders to both AWS D1.1 and ASME IX. I acted as
the NDE coordinator since we sub contracted our NDE work outside of visual inspection.
Audited welders to ensure they were within the parameters of the WPS designated for each
individual job. I helped the engineers in the selection of WPS for jobs based on materials and
thicknesses. Reviewed all MTR’s per ASTM and ASME sec. II. Draw up and fill out weld maps
