EMPLOYMENT
Feb. 2016 – Present Brown & Root
Responsibilities include caring out the duties of the plant inspector and supervising the QC
department, performing internal and external pressure vessel inspection, external inspection on
piping, reviewing PQR’s and WPS’s, building code packages for repairs and construction of new
vessels, and walking down P&ID’s. All inspections were performed in accordance with the
inspection and construction codes.
Dec. 2014 – Oct. 2015 HiTech Testing
Responsibilities include performing supervising inspection crew, performing internal and
external pressure vessel inspection, piping inspection, creating isometric drawings and heavy
vendor surveillance inspection on newly built pressure vessels, performing welder qualification
testing along with writing PQR's and WPS's, performing pipeline weld inspections, structural
fabrication inspections. All inspections were performed in accordance with the inspection and
construction codes.
Aug. 2013 – Dec. 2014 Applus RTD
Responsibilities include performing internal and external pressure vessel inspection, and heavy
vendor surveillance inspection on newly built pressure vessels and shop built API 12F storage
tanks, performing welder qualification testing along with writing PQR's and WPS's, and performed
pipeline weld inspections, structural fabrication inspections. All inspections were performed in
accordance with the inspection and construction codes.
March 2013 – July 2013 Engineering and inspection international
(Contract Inspector)
Perform the duties of project inspector over a new construction and tie-in of pump station
launcher and receiver tubes using engineering drawings and customer specifications while
maintaining contact with project construction supervisor, issued daily work permit, created weld
maps for the project, followed daily progress and report to customer, worked with project
assigned construction companies to eliminate problems in construction and safety as they arise,
acted as contact for receiving incoming material, and made job completion books for the
customer with all details of the job in the required format.
2012 – March 2013 Contract API inspector
Responsibilities include performing internal and external pressure vessel inspection, welder
qualification testing along with pipeline weld inspections, structural fabrication inspections. All
inspections were performed in accordance with the inspection and construction codes.
2010- 2012 Mistras Services group
Performing API 510/570, CWI and NDT inspection services to the Petro-chemical industry to
specific codes and standards. Responsibilities include performing internal and external pressure
vessel and piping inspections. During the Lyondell Basell 2011 VAM and AA turnaround had the
duties of exchanger coordinator in charge of all exchanger inspections identified for the
turnaround.
2008-2009 Desert Inspection Services
Performing API 510/570, CWI and NDT inspection services to the Petro-chemical industry to
specific codes and standards. Responsibilities include performing internal and external pressure
vessel inspection, welder qualification testing along with pipeline weld inspections, structural
fabrication inspections, and project lead supervising crews for projects.
2008- 2008 Gap Inspection and Engineering
Responsibilities were performing API 510 inspection and fire assessment on refinery equipment
and piping. Also worked as the night shift NDE coordinator issuing job assignment to technicians
and assuring that all required assignment are completed in a timely manner and that all specific
procedures are followed. I performed the duties as night shift supervisor on multiple occasions in
the absence of the normal supervisor. I assisted in assuring that all company and client safety
practices were followed while at the ALON USA refinery project in Big Spring, TX.
