The preschoolers will continue working on the musical story of Peter and the Wolf through activities like listening, acting it out, and drawing the characters. They will also practice counting objects and actions in math, and estimating the number of items in groups. At home, parents can have fun estimating and counting with their children, and plant seeds to observe growth with sun and water. The preschool also requests sun protection and any remaining Sainsbury's vouchers.

Activities we will be doing in Preschool
 The children will continue to listen and act out the musical story of Peter
and the Wolf as well as use their creative talents to draw pictures of the
characters from the story.
 In Maths we will be counting objects and actions eg jumps, claps, etc. We
will also talk about estimating the number of objects in a group and we
will encourage the children to have a guess at how many items there are
and then count to see how near they were.
Activities to do at home
 Have fun estimating and counting with your children. In preschool we
mainly use numbers below ten but some children love estimating and
counting bigger numbers.
 Plant some seeds with your children and encourage them to look after
them. Talk about the importance of the sun and water to help them grow.
