• This OTS is linear, this is because it is subtly referring the man as a serial killer and all the killings he has done.
• The OTS prepares for the film by:
• Establishing the sub genre which is a psychological.
• Establishing the setting which is set in miami, but in the opening title sequence it is in his home.
• In this OTS it creates some narrative enigmas:
• Who is he?
• Where is he going?
• Whats his role in the film?
• In this OTS it does challenge forms and/or conventions of the genre?
• This is because linear isn’t normally known in the psychological genre.

• Characters represented and why are they represented in this way?
• American - Middle Class
• To be the normal, middle aged man getting up and going out to work in the morning, having a normal routine, such
as shaving, having breakfast and getting dressed.They do this so it shows that you can be represented as normal
but shown completely different when you get to know them.
• Present credits and the main title by:
• Smaller font size cast role with bigger size for names
• Easy to read
• Same font through out the OTS.
