1) Data Processing:--data processing, Manipulation of data by a computer. It
includes the conversion of raw data to machine-readable form,
flow of data through the CPU and memory to output devices, and formatting or
transformation of output.
Any use of computers to perform defined operations on data can be included under
data processing.
In the commercial world, data processing refers to the processing of data
required to run organizations and businesses.
2) Editing & Formatting:-a) edit when you make necessary adjustments or
costumize on datas.. such as in documents you made on exel or word..formating is
like making a clean slate to put data..to make something a new.
like re formating your OS due to errors or malfunctions.
b) Editing would be making changes/alterations. Formatting would be, at least
in my mind, fashioning the results
of the final output of the program...what the results will look like from the
program.
or or or:::::
a) Formatting is altering the way a document looks - using different typefaces
and sizes, using bold or italic text,
indenting certain lines and paragraphs, aligning text to the left, right or
centre of the page, etc.
b) Editing is making changes to the text itself - inserting extra words,
altering the paragraph order, etc.
or or or:::::
a) if you change any character to another character,
then you are editing text.
b) If you change the appearance of any character,
like bold, size, color, underline, subscript,
then you are formatting text.
3) a) Using the "Save" command will save the document to a default location and
with a default title.
a) Using the "Save As" command allows you to specify the location and title of
the document.
b) If you open an existing document and modify it and then use the "Save"
command it will save and over write the original
document stored at the original location.
b) If you open an existing file, modify it and use the "Save As" command it
enables you to keep both the modified and
original versions of the document, as long as you rename the file .
c) Save means that it will quickly save to your Documents folder
c) Save As means that you can choose to save your file to a specific folder,
drive or floppy at your choice
