This document summarizes a needs assessment of patient satisfaction at Regional Hospital. It analyzes data from HCAHPS surveys across different hospital units and departments. The assessment found that satisfaction scores were lowest in the 5 East department and ICU. Other departments like 4 East, IMC, and 3 East also had areas for improvement. A training course was then outlined to remediate nursing practices through a focus on service excellence, communication, pain management, and addressing patient needs to improve HCAHPS scores, particularly in the weaker performing areas.
