A female graduate student began her first internship in a field that did not align with her major. To determine if the role is a good fit, one idea is for her to learn on the job. Two prototypes were proposed: 1) Understand - immerse herself in the work to identify strengths, weaknesses, and adapt her style. She enjoyed the process but questions if repeating similar tasks will help. 2) Create - ideate, build, and test ideas like a design process, but there was not enough time. The stakeholder is adapting to the work environment but tasks have been simple, leaving it unclear if she is suited for the role.
