There are many types of audio categories such as:
• Dialogue- A dialogue is a conversation between two or more people as a
feature of a book, play, or film. It also is a discussion between two or
more people or groups, especially one directed towards exploration of a
particular subject or resolution of a problem.
• Effects- Is a change which is a result or consequence of an action or other
cause, the state of being or becoming operative, the extent to which
something succeeds or is operative, a physical phenomenon typically
names after its discoverer also its an impression produced in the mind of
a person.
• Music- Is vocal or instrumental sound (or both) combined in such a way as
to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.The art
of science of composing or performing music, sound perceived as
pleasingly harmonious.

The only thing different is that gamming
uses icon sounds as well as all the others.

off-line multimedia, electronic games
and interactive TV.
Media Sectors
In the game call of duty modern warfare 2 trailer there are a lot of different
sound effects such as explosions, gun shots , narration and others. At the
start of the trailer there is some intense narration, during that narration
there is a slow build up of intense music assuming the person speaking is a
bad person.There is are loud bursts of gun shots and explosions throughout
the rest of the trailer, but it begins to die down as another new person
Begins to speak, as that narration is taking place there is a different kind of
music, a less intense and a more enjoyable tone of music this must show
that there is a battle between to people good and bad where they are both
trying to kill each other.
During the trailer there are many Diegetic sounds where you can hear and
see explosions and gun shots where the game becomes more instance. From
the start to the finish of the trailer there is a non-diegetic sound which is the
narration of the two explaining what is happening.

In the trailer Poltergeist there are a lot of different sounds used to create the
scene such as screaming, music, crying etc. At the beginning of the trailer it
starts of as people being happy as a family moves into there knew home but then
the whole trailer changed by a little boy thinking there is a storm coming and
him becoming scared and upset then he hears laughing which sounded like a
clown so he moves towards it and then he screams assuming he is scared of
clowns. Through out the trailer there are different Digetic sounds played to
cause the viewer to feel as if they are in the trailer and feeling the same
emotions as the person. There is narration going on through the trailer which
creates more of a scene and gives more of a story to the film. Ambience is used
to create a more intense and scary moment during the trailer. As the mood
changes the music does which also lets us know it is getting scary or happy.
There are voiceovers in the trailer to tell us what's happening which is non-
diegetic.
There isn't really any non-Diegetic sounds during the trailer but when there is its
mainly music during an intense moment to create more of a scary theme to the
trailer its self.
