This first step deals with preparing a biblically accurate lesson plan. Preparation will take time in the Word of God. This math student is trying to figure out the answer to his problem. It reminds me that studying takes effort, but God does give us His Holy Spirit to help.
As the plan comes to place, the learning from God’s Word will translate into lesson preparation. Here the teacher looking into the mirror reminds me that God’s Word is going to come into focus and will lead to a better lesson.
As the lesson comes together, the teacher should develop a creative lesson plan. Being creative is sometimes difficult. The structure here reminds me that the one thought in the middle can be expanded out into other ideas to make a lesson more creative and interesting.
Teach here represents applying the teaching process to an actual teaching setting. Here the bigger hand is helping the younger (smaller) hand to write. This reminds me of walking alongside those in the classroom and guiding them back to God’s Word as the source for all knowledge.
This step is just as important as the other four. Here it is important to evaluate what the students are learning and how effective the teaching was. The checkmark reminds me that even though it can be difficult to be evaluated, it is key to the learning to teach process.
