#3 When looking at observation, one is looking at what the passage says. A magnifying glass reminds me that in order to observe I must look closer into the passage and not add my own thoughts.
#4 Interpretation deals with what does the passage mean. I chose this questioning person to remind me to think deeper into the passage through prayer, the work of the Holy Spirit and time spent in the Word of God.
#5 Generalization helps the learner to know what the big idea is. The four trees at the top represent all the observations and interpretations and put together it comes down to one tree or one main idea.
#6 In order to properly apply a passage, one must decide what difference the passage makes. Here the man is standing at a crossroads. It reminds me that I must be specific and chose one way.
#7 Implementation deals with what I must do to change because of what I have learned from the passage. Here the pencil and paper remind me that I must write down and take action today.
