This document analyzes the opening title sequence (OTS) of the TV show "True Blood". It discusses how the OTS establishes the show's themes of vampires in the South and creates intrigue through a lack of characters. Specific elements of the OTS included bright colors, short shots for fast transitions, conventional vampire stereotypes like blood, a modern setting, and religious scenes outside a church. While the student did not enjoy the full film, they liked the fast cuts used in the OTS to create transitions.
