This document discusses using the Danielson Framework for Teaching to change school culture. It recommends analyzing the current culture, decoding the framework to develop common understandings, creating an observation and coaching system, and encouraging personalized professional development. The framework can shift from an evaluation tool to one that drives cultural change when school leaders work with teachers to define expectations for each component, develop artifacts of proficient practice, and facilitate goal-setting focused on growth. Regular observations and meaningful conversations about practice can then support teacher development and transformation of the school culture.
The document discusses issues in the secondary education system in India, focusing on defective examination systems and lack of guidance and counseling. It outlines problems with the current exam-focused system such as an emphasis on rote learning and subjective evaluation. Suggestions are provided such as reforming exams to evaluate understanding and including practical components. Barriers to effective guidance counseling like lack of funding, professionals and parental support are also examined. The document argues education must address these exam and career guidance issues to better support students.
The document outlines a unit plan for a middle school health and nutrition lesson. Students will study their own health, nutrition needs, and create menus for imaginary restaurants. They will analyze food advertising, write commercials, and role play running a restaurant. The unit incorporates standards in health, math, science, and technology and aims to develop student awareness of healthy eating through experiential learning activities.
The document summarizes key findings from a survey of over 1,500 higher education students in the US and Canada about their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, concerns for the upcoming academic year, and priorities and expectations moving forward. Many students are worried about financial challenges, lack of motivation, feeling behind academically, isolation, and managing mental health. They want flexibility in learning options, engagement tools, and a sense of community and belonging fostered through diverse curriculums, instructor feedback and mentorship.
The document describes a unit plan where students study healthy eating habits, develop menus for imaginary restaurants, write advertising commercials to promote their restaurants, and role play running their restaurants by taking orders and handling transactions. The unit incorporates various pedagogical approaches including engaged learning, outcome-based education, Socratic questioning, inquiry learning, and constructivist and Vygotsky's learning theories. It also addresses how the unit aligns with educational standards and psychology.
The document discusses issues with the secondary education system in India. It notes that the current examination system is defective and overly focused on rote learning and memory. Guidance and counseling services are also lacking. The examination system needs reforms to assess understanding rather than just memory. It should also evaluate students in all domains, not just knowledge. Guidance and counseling are important to help students with career selection, problem-solving, and development, but they suffer from issues like lack of funding and qualified professionals. Overall improvements are needed to make secondary education more student-centered, practical, and focused on development.

It then examines principles of adult learning, including self-direction, experience-based learning, and readiness to learn. Finally, it predicts future issues such as pressure from administrators, burnout from long hours, and challenges with student discipline and time management.
IMPACT OF REMOTE LEARNING TO THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE.pptxZULAIHAGUIAMALON1
The document discusses a study that aimed to determine the impact of remote learning on the academic performance of senior high school students at Datu Paglas National High School. Specifically, the study sought to understand students' demographic profiles and their perspectives on how remote learning impacted their performance. Surveys were administered to 60 senior high students to gather data on their access to devices, effectiveness of remote learning, time management, and enjoyment of online classes. The results showed that while most students had average views of remote learning, they found it only slightly effective due to challenges like unstable internet and lack of resources. The study concluded remote learning had a negative influence on students' education, and recommended teachers provide more support and materials to help students during online classes.
This document discusses happy learning factors that are well-suited for the digital education system. It defines happy learning as a process that enables students to discover knowledge through curiosity and balanced pleasure and future benefits. E-pedagogy incorporates effective online teaching values. The document recommends blending happy learning factors like self-discovery, shared learning, and positive emotions with e-pedagogy digital tools. This would make the teaching-learning process more effective and promote a happy, comfortable learning environment for students. Educational implications include increasing student participation, independent learning skills, and social awareness.

A Review on Recent Advances of Packaging in Food IndustryPriyankaKilaniya
Effective food packaging provides number of purposes. It functions as a container to hold and transport the food product, as well as a barrier to protect the food from outside contamination such as water, light, odours, bacteria, dust, and mechanical damage by maintaining the food quality. The package may also include barriers to keep the product's moisture content or gas composition consistent. Furthermore, convenience is vital role in packaging, and the desire for quick opening, dispensing, and resealing packages that maintain product quality until fully consumed is increasing. To facilitate trading, encourage sales, and inform on content and nutritional attributes, the packaging must be communicative. For storage of food there is huge scope for modified atmosphere packaging, intelligent packaging, active packaging, and controlled atmosphere packaging. Active packaging has a variety of uses, including carbon dioxide absorbers and emitters, oxygen scavengers, antimicrobials, and moisture control agents. Smart packaging is another term for intelligent packaging. Edible packaging, self-cooling and self-heating packaging, micro packaging, and water-soluble packaging are some of the advancements in package material.

1. The Researcher advise teachers to encourage students to reflect on their own
learning and progress by completing self assessment forms. This will help
them identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
2. The researcher also recommends to implement peer evaluations where
students assess each other’s cooking skills. This not only helps studemts learn
from their peers but also promotes teamwork and communication.
