Ingestion of ascariasis eggs from feces(contaminated food or water.
Swallowed eggs first hatch in the intestine.
The larvae then move through the bloodstream to the lungs via blood.
After maturing, the roundworm larva travels to throat.
Someone either cough up or swallow the roundworms in the throat.
The worms that swallowed will travel back to the intestine and worms will
mate and lay more eggs.
Some eggs are excreated through the feces. Other eggs hatch and return
to the lungs.
