2. Target Audience
■ The target audience for the album ‘As you Were’ is quite broad. This can be
observed by the variety of age groups at his gigs, due to this I would say his TA goes
as low as 16 to as high as 40 years of age.
■ The type of person the album would relate to is mainstreamers, some of the
characteristics of mainstreamers are the seek for security and their trust in popular
brands and the value for money. They make up over 40% of the population.

sites to alert fans to his interviews. In said interviews he speaks about the other writers of As you were such as
Greg Curstain and one other, and even explains the lyrics behind some of the songs such as ‘For what its
worth’ which was written as an apology to varies people for Liam’s actions towards them.
A famous interview shown by the BBC which shows a ‘backstage pass’ to the public of Liam before the show.
As well as this he appeared on The Graham Norton show and Later with Jools Holland.

6. Timing of the campaign
The timing of this campaign was ideal with brother Noel supposed rival of Liam
releasing an album not only the same year but almost the same month as his sibling.
Liam’s album being released in October and Noels in late November. This caused the
public to when first listening to the albums to create a war between the albums of the
two brothers. A war which according to most of the public was won by Liam.
