6. The timing of the campaign and how well did
the campaign do?
The album debuted at number one in the UK, outselling the
rest of the top 10 of the UK albums chart combined and
achieving gold certification in its first week. It also achieved
the highest single-week vinyl sales in 20 years, with 16,000.
The album was announced in June 2017 and was released
October 6th 2017.
His brother was also releasing an album about the same time
which created a competition between the brothers, which
helped the sales of ’Who BuiltThe Moon?’ and ‘AS YOU
WERE’ .
