3. A. LINE
A line is a mark drawn any tool that marks as
it moves across a surface.
It can be long or short, thick or thin, rough or
smooth, dotted, broken or solid.
They can also make straight movements,
zigzag, waves or curls.
They can be horizontal, vertical, diagonal

It can be measured (geometric, directional
and angular)
EXPRESSIVE LINES
It can be found in nature and very organic.

5. B. SHAPE
shape is created when a line becomes
connected and encloses space. It is the
outline or outward appearance of
something.

6. TWO DIMENSIONAL
shapes are two-dimensional which means you can
measure its height and its width.

7. GEOMETRIC SHAPES
it is smooth and even edgesand are measureable
such as squares, circle, triangle and rectangle.
ORGANIC SHAPES
have more complicated edges and are usually
found in nature

a form is a shape that is 3-D or three dimensional
that has height, width and depth.

It can add interest and reality to artwork.

Value is the lightness or darkness of a color.
It makes objects appear more real because it
imitates natural light.
You will need a light source
A light source is the place where the light is
coming from. The darkest areas are always
on the opposite side of the light.

Texture is the way the surface of an object
actually feels.
TWO TYPES OF TEXTURE
Tactile or real texture is the way the surface of an
object actually feels.
Implied texture is the way the surface of an object
looks like it feels.

Space is the distance around between above,
below and within an object.

Positive space is the space where the subject is
position.
Negative space is the area surrounding the
subject.
