- In general the work of Van Gogh (and this painting AWheatfield of Cypresses is a good example) contains many textures in the form of marks, stripes, dots and short, long and wavy lines of colour, used to repressent grass, wheat, bushes, shrubs, the brunches and leaves of trees, clouds etc.\n
- They give a sense of a natural texture to each element and to the work as a whole. \n
- For example here we have grass, wheat stalks, cypress tree brunches.\n

- With coloured marker pens, you have to use the most suitable tecnique to repressent different elements of the textures in this painting. \n
