Isometric perspective is a type of technical drawing that represents a 3D object in a single view using three receding planes that project at the same angle onto the drawing plane, allowing the object's dimensions to be clearly seen from one viewpoint. The isometric system uses three planes (XOY, YOZ, ZOX) that form a trihedral and project at the same angle to the drawing surface, giving the isometric view. One can transition from an orthographic projection system to the isometric view by taking the front, left side, and plan views and projecting them together at a uniform angle.
