2. Article 352 Of Indian Constitution
• When war, external aggression, or armed
revolt endanger the security of India or a
portion of it, the president may, in accordance
with Article 352, proclaim a national
emergency.
3. Article 352 Of Indian Constitution
• Article 352 addresses declaring a state of
emergency as a result of violent insurrection,
war, or external aggression. It's commonly
referred to as a "National Emergency." When
war, external aggression, or armed revolt
endanger the security of India or a portion of
it, the President may, in accordance with
Article 352, proclaim a national emergency.

• Additionally, if the president is convinced that
there is an immediate threat, he has the
authority to declare a national emergency even in
the absence of real war, external aggression, or
armed insurrection.
The 44th Amendment Act of 1978 replaced the
original term "internal disturbance" with the
word "armed rebellion."
