Arctic wolves live in the Arctic tundra of Greenland, the Canadian Arctic, and parts of Alaska, where they have adapted to survive in cold temperatures with dense fur and short ears and muzzles. They hunt prey like caribou, muskoxen, and seals, but climate change is causing global warming that could decrease their populations through more frequent ice storms and declining food sources. Arctic wolves live in family packs and females give birth to litters of 2-3 pups once a year in late May or early June.
