2. Who is he? He was a Greek Mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor and astronomer. Born c. 287 BC in Syracuse, Sicily. Died c. 212 BC around the age of 75. He was killed by a Roman soldier despite orders. He was consider the greatest mathematician of antiquity and one of the greatest of all time
3. What He designed! He designed machines, engines, screw pumps and methods of math. His machines was designed to attack attacking ships out of the water. He made a method to calculate the area volume of surface of revolution. Also found the value of Pi.
4. MISC. He not only made inventions that helped a lot he also wrote books. He made this equation for the triangle: His first book was called the Law of Lever.
