Over time, business intelligence (BI) needs often increase and change, requiring additional data sources and users to be added to the existing BI system. However, these piecemeal additions are typically not accompanied by changes to the underlying architecture, which remains ignored. As a result, performance degrades and issues with data accuracy and analysis capabilities arise as the unwieldy and piecemeal architecture becomes too complex and expensive to support. In contrast, an ARC-based BI system is built to accommodate evolving needs, allowing new capabilities and configurations without disrupting performance or data quality.
