Marketing Strategy on International Expansion

Job description
Department the intern will be working: Marketing Department
AR BROWN Co.,Ltd is on the stage of expanding its market to Southeast Asian countries and is
now doing marketing research on those fields.
EP is asked to learn the marketing skills needed in this process: a private
enterprise expanding into overseas markets, especially into Southeast Asian
countries.
EP will learn about the logistics of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore,
Philippine and Indonesia.
As part of marketing research, EP will exchange information and create
connections with AR BROWN's overseas partner companies in the US.
In addition to the marketing research listed above, EP will learn Japanese culture
through daily communication.
Measurable results expected
AR BROWN Co.,Ltd is now on the stage of expanding its market to Southeast Asian markets,
and is focusing its attention to the market research on this field, especially in the electronics,
automobile and home appliance manufacturer segments.
EP is asked to develop practical marketing strategies and apply it to the actual marketing
research. To deepen the marketing research, EP will help AR BROWN create the lists of
segmental potential customers and organize logistics information. Through these processes, EP is
expected to support Japanese business people by making the best use of his or her own eyesight
as a Southeast Asian student, who has been actually lived in Southeast Asian society, and can
grasp practical needs of the market.
EP is also expected to make full use of his or her English ability to do internet research and
attend several videophone meetings with AR BROWN’s overseas partner companies to
exchange and analyze overseas information. Of course, during this process, EP has plenty of
opportunities to announce his or her project to the company and get feedbacks. The goal of this
internship is to finish the marketing project and learn through this process.
