Energy Efficiency for City Buildings
Editor's Notes
May 2011 Council approved existing contract.
Mention that energy supply prices have actually gone down but the losses, capacity, transmissions have gone up. Averaging these costs over a three year contract makes it less expensive than the 1 year.
Mention about getting supply only price for years 4 and 5 but too much uncertainty around pass-through costs
City’s uses 23 million kWh per year

The 5% rule would be a net increase of $60,000 annually for 100% Green Energy over the brown price or $5,000 per month
Annual usage: 23,000,000 kWh
Annual cost: $1,125,000
