Television provides an accessible way for learners to access instructional content without needing training. Learners can choose channels and view content anywhere a TV device is available. While content creation takes time, distribution of the content via television is very fast. Television is also relatively inexpensive compared to other distance learning technologies like video conferencing. It enables both individual and group learning depending on the instructor's approach. Audio and video technologies support teaching and learning, and content can be easily adapted. Interactivity is enabled and the technology is easy to use. Organizational support is needed for technical support, maintenance, and content production. The main change required is providing TV devices in classrooms.
