largest information technology company by revenue.
• Foxconn has 13 factories in nine Chinese cities.
• Notable products that the company manufactures include the
BlackBerry,iPad , iPhone, iPod, Kindle, Xbox One, Xbox 360,
PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
Un Ethical practices
• over 200,000workers that lived and
worked in the factory, 60 hours of
labor per week they made around
$100 per month and were required
to live on the premises and pay for
rent and food from the company.
• Foxconn & Apple's child labor
abuses.
• Suicides of employees and labour.
• Suicide proof building ,preventing
nets.
• Usage of poison and toxic
chemical without any safety
precautions.
Conclusion
• Too often companies take a blind eye to their
suppliers and act like practices that are common in a
region don't apply to them or these favored suppliers,
even though they may know this isn't true. In an
Internet age, I think that is increasingly problematic.
Even if governments don't take action, competitors
and activist groups are more than capable of making
these unsavory practices visible.
