Project Name: MWH WebParts
Description:
MWH Webparts is collection of SharePoint Webparts containing 30 odd custom WebParts designed as per the clients
need which then result in a dashboard for project management. We started to design these WebPart in SharePoint
2007 and Silverlight. After a big success for our WebParts, client demanded to make them available on iOS platform,
however as Silverlight is not supported on iOS we took a big step towards migration of all the WebPart to HTML and
JavaScript.
Also, these webparts pass messages to each other, for example, if you select a node in Hierarchy webpart, the
message broadcast to rest of the webparts. Each webpart receives message and render themselves according to the
data.
The project is ongoing and we have migrated more than 20 WebPart from Silverlight to HTML and have created 5
more new WebParts in HTML.
