Korea  a number of key elements of GCED already present • Changing trends  more teachers’ proactive role in re-organizing curricula expected  more emphasis and space for learner-centred pedagogy, including project-based learning, experiential learning, etc.  more possibilities for cross-subject curricular design
  • 25.  Process: • Designed and coordinated by APCEIU • Involving 15 Korean experts and educators • Translation of TLOs to Korean language → Analysis of TLOs against the national curriculum & situational realities (internal research & extensive consultations) → Framework developed by APCEIU → Writing up by experts, teachers & APCEIU → Review & editing → Publishing (Nov. 2015) • Distribution plans: through provincial offices of education, training workshops, GCED lead teachers, relevant teachers’ research groups, etc. (distributed along with information sessions and/or training workshops)
