2nd Avenue Subway 96th Street Station Finishes, MTA—New York, NY ($324M)
As part of a joint venture with Tully Construction, Mr. Anowar serves as QA/QC
Manager for the fit-out of the main station, entrances, and ancillary structures for the
96th Street Station. The contract requires ten stages of construction which will include
the construction of the 96th Street Station, ancillary buildings, and entrances, as well as
rehabilitation and retrofit of the existing 99th-105th Street tunnel, the construction of
invert slab and benches in the new 87th-92nd street tunnels, and the installation of
major mechanical systems. E.E. Cruz/Tully is also responsible for site restoration along
9 blocks of Second Avenue including the placement of utilities in final locations, glazed
storefronts and canopies, and the restoration of sidewalks, pavement, curbs, signage,
and landscaping.

QA/QC Manager for the construction of Emergency Vent Plant #6331 including plenum,
vent bays, and flues at Mulry Square to protect the IND 8th Ave and IRT 7th Ave line.
The project also involves major site excavation and utility work. This includes the
rerouting of existing steam lines, gas mains, water mains, and the installation of new
ducts, mechanical equipment, fan, dampers, silencers, electrical service and
distribution equipment, instrumentation and control, and communication equipment.
Greenland Consulting and Properties Development Ltd - Jackson Heights, NY
Consultant responsible for the construction review of civil, structural and architectural
design for a residential building in Bangladesh. Mr. Anowar was responsible for project
proposals and bid assessments in the overseas office as well as managing site
operational cost.
C.D. Moody Construction/HMMH, JV 2315 Aviation Boulevard - Hapeville, GA
QA/QC Engineer and Team Manager for the terminal roadway, bridges, connector,
building bridge, and parking lot at Atlanta International Airport. The project involved the
installation of MSE wall gravity wall, barrier wall, loading dock, duct banks/conduits,
light poles, CV Lot, drop inlet/catch basin. Duties included MSE wall and geo-pier
foundation inspections, visual inspection of the post tension cable, nuts and bolts and
steel rebar, and the inspection of piles for the bridge footing foundation.
Matrix Engineering Inc. - Tucker, GA
Staff Engineer responsible for performing drill monitoring for geotechnical subsurface
investigations for the Panola Road and I-85 Road projects, maintaining boring logs,
performing soil classifications, and inspecting post tension cable, nuts and bolts and
steel rebar.
Douglass Environmental Services Inc. - Indianapolis, IN
Senior Quality Assurance Field Coordinator for airport expansion projects at Hartsfield-
Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Mr. Anowar supervised in construction site
development including technical investigation, soils engineering, construction
surveying and structural drafting. Additionally, Mr. Anowar developed construction
plans, reports and specifications, inspected and performed quality control checks, and
included all proofroll operations.

Senior Quality Control Inspector for Runway and Taxiway. Mr. Anowar was responsible
for inspecting edge beams, diaphragms, rebar, settlement analysis and post tension
cabling for the Fifth Runway Bridge Project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International
Airport. Also was Senior Quality Control Inspector for GA 400 Bridge Project.
Additionally, Mr. Anowar performed pile inspection and roadway inspections, including
curbs, gutters, and medians in compliance with DOT specifications for the Fifth Runway
Bridge Project.
