The children made a large puppet out of materials to place in their vegetable garden. The puppet is powered by wind and acts as a scarecrow to protect the garden. The puppet works well and the children think it is a nice addition to the garden.

The students in Luisa Fadista's kindergarten class decided to make creches for Christmas using recycled materials. They constructed puppets out of old newspapers, empty packaging, paint, pencils, wool, straw, and used card. The children helped shape the wood pulp from yogurt containers using the sun's energy. Wool was used to make beards and hair for the puppets. The students then painted faces on the puppets of Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, kings, shepherds, and an angel. Marta contributed straw for the creche. The kindergarteners' finished creches were exhibited for the whole community to see.

We made Christmas cards for our families and friends with drawings of stars and cribs. Everyone made a small crib drawing for their parents. Some students also made crib drawings for their eTwinning friends to wish them a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
