◦ If you have not already done so, sign up for Pearson MyLab. Instructions for
how to do so are located in Blackboard. Click “Syllabus” in the left-hand menu,
and locate the Pearson MyLab Sign-Up Instructions sheet.
◦ Make sure you have watched the “Welcome Message & Getting Started”
Video and the “How to Find Everything Video.” If you do not watch these
videos, you will be lost in navigating this course.
◦ Be sure you have gone through the “Getting Started Folder,” and read
through the “Syllabus” and the first Announcements.
◦ I recommend printing out a copy of the “Due Date Schedule.”

• Your initial response is always due by end-of-the day on Thursday. Your
response to a classmate is always due by end-of-the-day on Sunday.
• Your discussion initial response MUST be at least 300 words or it will be
automatically marked a "0."
• If you do not reply to a classmate by the end of the day Sunday, your
discussion will also be automatically marked a "0," even if you have
completed an initial response.
