This is the annotation of my contents page mock-up and changes, created as part of my AS Media Coursework (foundation portfolio).

1. Annotation of Contents Page Mock-up and Changes
This is the title of the contents
page, which is “Contents”, I think
the use of red makes it stand out
well and it also makes it bright so
the audience can clearly see the
colour; however, in my final draft,
I am going to increase the size of
it so more space can be taken up.
The “articles” aspect of the table will
not require any change because I feel it
is ordered and precise and gives the
details of the various different stories
well.
I can add the date over
here, which is a standard
convention in contents
pages.
The main image has the right size
and connotes the genre of rap well,
so I will not change it.
I should add two
more images to
my “trending”
box because it
makes the box
look more
dynamic and it
will make the
box look more
unique.
The Mean
Streetz text
and the flame
logo convey
brand identity.
The featured story aspect does
not require any change.
I need to fill up
this space so
that the
contents page
is filled up and
thus in terms of
aesthetics it will
look better.
