Anna shares her personal experiences with educational technology from 1980 to present. She started school in 1980 without computers in the classroom but saw their introduction in the late 1980s. By high school in the early 1990s, many students had home computers and she used floppy disks and a word processor typewriter. In college in the mid-1990s, she preferred using computer labs for writing papers as the internet was becoming mainstream. She envisions future classrooms with no paper and digital worksheets, textbooks, assessments and presentations using devices like iPads.
