3. INTRODUCTION
• India is an agricultural country and it contributes 19.90 percent of GDP in
2020-21.
• Human-animal conflict is a major challenge where enormous amount of
resources are lost and human life is at danger.
• In recent times, the numbers of such incidences are increasing.
• Intrusion systems are mainly designed for surveillance for human and
rarely for intruding animals.
4. NEED OF STUDY
• A 75-year-old man died after being attacked by a leopard in his agricultural farm at
Amreli district’s Dhari taluka in Gir (east) wildlife division Wednesday, forest officials
said. He is the fifth person to die in man-animal conflict in greater Gir landscape in the
last five weeks. (27-Jan-2021, The Indian Express)
• First man-eater leopard killed in Uttarakhand forests this year; it had mauled a woman
who had gone to bring fodder for her cattle. (28-Jan-2021, Times of India)

6. OUR STUDY
To monitor the fields to detect intrusion in and around field
• Present day designs are developed using
• Sensor,
• Camera (with day/night vision capability)
• Processor to process captured the image
• Send notification to farm and forest officials
• Novelty: Changes in our system
• Remove the sensor
• Remove GSM module
7. OBJECTIVES
• To provide protection from the attacks of the wild animals and thus
minimizing the probable loss to the farmers.
• To protect wild animals which otherwise might be attacked by locals
• To detect intrusion around the field.
• To capture the image of intruder.
• To send notification to farm owner and forest officials using cloud storage.
8. How Will it Work?
• It works on two modes
1. Auto mode
2. Manual mode
• Following devices are used in this.
1. Camera
2. Raspberry Pi
3. Solar Panel
4. Solar Voltage Controller
10. BUSINESS STRATEGY
• Probable customers
• Farmers
• Villagers
• Forest guard
• NGOs Working in Wild life Conservation
• Cost of Proposed System
• Camera-4800
• Solar panel-2400
• Solar voltage controller-1050
