I didn’t realize how bad it good get! Those pictures look terrible and I can’t even think how much that
has to hurt since angular cheilitis hurts even when it’s just a small crack.

For a long time, I thought I had cold sores or just plain old chapped lips, but my doctor told me it was
angular cheilitis and what I could do about it. Treatment is very important, it can get much worse if you don’t get on
top of it right away.

I have often mistaken the blistering for something else. I didn’t know that there were so many
symptoms to cheilitis, it easy to see why it could get mistaken for something else or misdiagnosed.
