'Andy warhol your face'
- 1. Andy Warhol your face. For this task we had to take a head shot of our face against a white background and then open it in Photoshop. The task is to create four pictures that look like Andy Warhol's. Personally I don’t really like working on Photoshop as I've previously found it quite hard to get the hang of but after doing this and realising how easy it was I do quite like it and would be able to do it again. I like Originalby the end of the task the picture I took Edited picture. the way picture. look almost unrecognizable.
- 2. Stage 2. My initial idea was just to choose bold colours and experiment to see how they looked together as I hadn’t done this before but after a few experiments I decided I would try and use the jokers face colours to see how it turned out. I think it looks quite good due to the jokers colours being so bold and blunt against each other. I chose the purple background as with the bright green hair I think it stands out even more.
- 3. The proce ss. After I had established the colours I wanted to use for one and made sure it was done I then proceeded to make a new layer and copy that image onto it. Then all I had to do was copy and paste another 3 times so that as you can see in the above print screens all four images were on one board. I could then just easily select what the image I needed to and then highlighted the part of the image I wanted to change. For example all of the hair colours are different in
- 4. Finished Artwork. This is the final outcome. Over all I’m really pleased with it. I like the way all of the colours stand out from one another. If I was to do it again though I would make sure I selected all of the hair as in the pictures you can see where I’ve missed the hair a bit and because there are so many bright colours used, it seems quite noticeable to me.
