The student took a photo of their face against a white background to create four Andy Warhol-inspired portraits in Photoshop. They found Photoshop easier to use than expected and enjoyed transforming their photo into unrecognizable images using bold colors. Specifically, they based one portrait on the Joker character using his signature purple and green colors scheme. The student duplicated the initial image three times to efficiently edit each portrait with different hair colors on separate layers. While pleased overall with the results, they would improve by more precisely selecting areas like the hair on repeat edits.
