External Metrics Make Internal Decisions
When you know where people are coming to your
site from your social media efforts, you can tweak
your site to focus on the information your
“customers” care about.
A simple hot / cold analysis is done by comparing
what is being shared and what is being clicked.

Measurements and Milestones
Sometimes the measurements are right in front of
you.
 What trends are emerging through the data?
Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper.
 Maybe there is information you are not seeing, but is there –
what story are the numbers telling you?
