The present report addresses the need to describe and explain the important features of formative assessment when used with instruction. There are nine principles that explain both theory and practice in the conduct of formative assessment inside the classroom. These nine principles serve as a set of expectations to help teachers ascertain better practice of formative assessment when teaching. These nine principles include: (1) Formative assessment works along with the perspectives of assessment “for” and “as” learning; (2) Formative assessment is embedded with instruction; (3) Helping the students focus on the learning goal; (4) Diagnostic assessment on the target competency serves the function of formative assessment; (5) Formative assessment moves from determining discreet skills to integrated skills; (6) Using continuous and multiple forms of assessment; (7) Feedback practices using assessment results; (8) Working out with students to reach the learning goal; and (9) Deciding to move instruction to the next competency.
A Development of Students’ Worksheet Based on Contextual Teaching and LearningIOSRJM
This research is aimed at developing the students’ worksheet to determine the quality of validity and practicality aspects based on expert’s assessment of materials, expert’s design, media specialists, an individual assessment of students’ testing, a small group assessment of students trial, and a field trials assessment of students.This study is adapted from the development of ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages: 1) Analysis, 2) design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) evaluation. The results showed that the quality of students' worksheet of mathematics on materials of factorization in algebra-based on Contextual Teaching and Learning basically on the assessment of: 1) the experts’ of subject materials is obtained a total average of 3.81 is included in the category of "Good" or scored 76.2 % which is included in the category of "Very Decent", 2) the experts’ design is obtained a total average of 3.62 which is included in the category of "Good" or scored 72.4% which is included in the category "Decent", 3) the experts’ of media is obtained scored 4:43 which is included in the category of "Good" or scored 88.6% which is in the category of "Very Decent".Whereas, the assessment by the students is done in three stages: 1) an individual assessment of students’ testing is obtained average total of 4.75 which is included in the category of "Very Good" or 95% which is included in the category of "Very Decent", 2) a small group assessment of students trial is obtained total average of 4:58 which is included in the category of "Very Good" or scored 91.6% thus it is included in the category of "Very Decent", 3) a field trials assessment of students is obtained a total average of 4:43 which is included in the category of "Very Good" or scored 88.6% thus it is included in the category of "Very Decent". Thus mathematics on materials of factorization in algebra-based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is declared valid and practical so it can be used as the learning equipment of mathematics at the factorization material algebra.

Abstract
Assessment in its various forms has always been a central part of educational practice. Evidence gleaned from
the empirical literature suggests that assessment, especially high stakes external assessment has effect on how
teachers teach and consequently, how students learn. Through focus group discussions, this paper draws upon
the experiences of 12 tutors and 18 student-teachers in 3 colleges of education in Ghana. The findings show that
although teachers are expected to nurture evaluative thinking skills in their pupils/students this is not reflected in
the assessment and teaching and learning practices of student-teachers. This paper argues that for teachers to be
effective in promoting the desired goals of the basic school curriculum, greater recognition must be accorded to
the influence of assessment on teaching and learning, the understanding of which could arguably play an
important role in introducing changes that will promote the cognitive processes and thinking skills desired in our
schools and classrooms.

This study aims to describe the application of Rally Robbin and Fan-N-Pick learning models in classroom learning, and how to improve students’ self-esteem and learning outcomes of the fifth-grade students of SDN Purwantoro 8 Malang through the implementation of Rally Robbin and Fan-N-Pick learning models. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with the subject of the fifth-grade students of SDN Purwantoro 8 Malang. The data collection of this research used observation method, interview, test and documentation. The technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis consisting of: 1) reducing data, 2) presenting the data, 3) inferencing the result of analysis. The procedures in this study used the model developed by Kemmis and Taggart. Based on the results of data analysis obtained it was found that: 1) implementation of Rally Robbin and Fan-N-Pick learning model on the fifth-grade students of SDN Purwantoro 8 Malang is well performed; 2) the implementation of Rally Robbin and Fan-N-Pick learning models can improve students’ self-esteem; And 3) the adoption of Rally Robbin and Fan-N-Pick models can improve students’ learning outcomes

The study determines to find out the present situation of Bangladesh and Global Studies test items/creative questions in Bangladesh. This descriptive study was conducted using
a concurrent triangulation research design. To conduct this study both quantitative and qualitative data were collected. 16 test of Bangladesh and Global Studies test items/creative
question papers of 2015 or 2016 were selected purposively as a sample from all educational boards. Bangladesh and Global Studies curriculum were analyzed to find out the major skills
reflected through the curriculum. 48 students were selected conveniently for an interview from those who had been passed the SSC examination of 2015 or 2016. For collecting data from
these sources, test analysis protocol, the curriculum content reading protocol and interview protocol were used as research tools. Test analysis protocol consisted of two criteria; wording
criteria and practising criteria. Selected test items were analyzed based on these two criteria and Bloom’s cognitive domain. The study revealed that there was an imbalance in wording criteria and practising criteria of test items. SSC examination test items didn’t reflect the major skills of the curriculum appropriately. Most of the test items promoted students lower level learning and ignored higher level learning

ABSTRACT: This study aimed at producing an interactive Analytical Geometry Module based on
Systematic, Active, Effective (SAE) e-module model that can build learning independence and competency of
students in Mathematics Education study programs. This research employed the developmental research method
with the stages of development: preliminary studies, design, development, and testing. This study documented
that most of the students were interested in lectures on analytical geometry utilizing module teaching materials
in the form of interactive electronics (interactive e-modules) that could build student learning independence and
easily understand them. For this reason, it is necessary to develop teaching materials that are easy to understand,
namely interactive e-modules in the field of analytical geometry. At the design stage, this study captured the
results of the initial draft e-module interactive analytical geometry with systematic: introduction (preface,
instructions for using e-modules, material description, prerequisites, learning objectives), learning activities
include: a description of the material and examples of questions, practice exercises, summaries, competency
tests, practice answer instructions, feedback, and reference lists. At the development stage, an interactive draft
geometry e-module product draft was produced. The e-module draft is an interactive analytical geometry that is
designed and developed systematically and effectively and enables students to build learning independently by
adhering to the principles of developing teaching materials in learning. In the testing phase, the results of the
trial on the draft e-module were limited to students, and the overall average score was 3.27, which means that
the students considered that the analytical geometry interactive e-module product was good.

Creative question is generally considered as a tool to measure students’ various levels of learning. The study focused on exploring the present situation of General Science test items/creative questions in Bangladesh. This descriptive study was conducted using a concurrent triangulation research design. Test analysis protocol was consisted of two criteria; wording criteria and practicing criteria. Selected test items were analysed based on these two criteria and Bloom’s cognitive domain. The study revealed that major test items were developed in a way which direct students towards lower level learning. Few test items were focused to students understanding, application and higher order learning. In practice, students were engaged to only memorization and understanding through SSC examination assessment. Few test items were devoted to application level learning of students. Higher order learning was totally ignored in SSC examination questions.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the opinion of students on teaching and on the school culture. This opinion can be used in order to create the appropriate school climate with a view to achieving quality in the organization and in the administration of the school unit. This research is original and innovative as it correlates the views of students with the implementation of total quality management (TQM) in the school unit.

Belief-change among students in mathematics learning is an elemental source of concern in the field of mathematics education. In the Philippines, BS Mathematics is one of the programs less chosen by many students. In spite of the efforts of the schools to market the program, it remains in the last options for those who are planning to take mathematics in the tertiary level. This study, through a qualitative research, explores the beliefs and feelings of BS Mathematics students of De La Salle Lipa about engaging in and learning Mathematics. It presents the change in beliefs of the students particularly those who did not intend to enroll in the said program. The views and feelings expressed by the subjects during a face-to-face interview reflect the kind of experience they have in school. The findings of the study indicate that (negative) beliefs of the students about pursuing mathematics as a program and learning the subject can change with the sound support of the school to provide an encouraging and learning environment. Such can eventually promote positive reception and achievement in the subject among the students.
The education in the 21st century focuses on knowledge and encourages students to generate information and encourage developing new skills. The framework of 21st century learning skill is communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and innovation. A cooperation skill in the world of education is an important thing to be done in learning. Therefore, a solution is needed to optimize student empower cooperation skills process by using the teaching material in the form of module. The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of inquiry based learning module to empower cooperation skills. This research was conducted in one of high school in Surakarta, Indonesia. The research method is quasi experiment, used pretest and posttest design by using two randomly selected classes those were experimental class used an inquiry based learning module and control one used a modules made by biology teachers in Surakarta. The results showed that there were significant differences of learning outcomes between the control and the experimental classes based on the independent samples t-test test results, also seen with the n-gain scores that obtained at 0.78 (middle) in the control class and 0.87 (high) in the experimental class. As the study concluded, using inquiry based learning module in the learning process in effective to empower cooperation skills.

Creative question is generally considered as a tool to measure students’ various levels of learning. The study focused on exploring the present situation of General Science test items/creative questions in Bangladesh. This descriptive study was conducted using a concurrent triangulation research design. To conduct this study both quantitative and qualitative data were collected. 16 test of General Science test items/creative question papers of 2015 or 2016 were selected purposively as sample from all educational boards. 48 students were selected conveniently for interview from those who had been passed the SSC examination of 2015 or 2016. For collecting data from these sources test analysis protocol and interview protocol were used as research tools. Test analysis protocol was consisted of two criteria; wording criteria and practicing criteria. Selected test items were analysed based on these two criteria and Bloom’s cognitive domain. The study revealed that major test items were developed in a way which direct students towards lower level learning. Few test items were focused to students understanding, application and higher order learning. In practice, students were engaged to only memorization and understanding through SSC examination assessment. Few test items were devoted to application level learning of students. Higher order learning was totally ignored in SSC examination questions.

School effectiveness is a different approach to achieve quality in the organization and administration of education. The quality of teaching in classrooms is inextricably linked to the effectiveness of the school unit, as teaching directly affects one of the most important interest groups in education: students. The quality of learning is influenced both by school environment and the activities in which student are involved. The purpose of this research is to investigate the opinion of students on teaching and on the school culture. This opinion can be used in order to create the appropriate school climate with a view to achieving quality in the organization and in the administration of the school unit. This research is original and innovative as it correlates the views of students with the implementation of total quality management (TQM) in the school unit.

Belief-change among students in mathematics learning is an elemental source of concern in the field of mathematics education. In the Philippines, BS Mathematics is one of the programs less chosen by many students. In spite of the efforts of the schools to market the program, it remains in the last options for those who are planning to take mathematics in the tertiary level. This study, through a qualitative research, explores the beliefs and feelings of BS Mathematics students of De La Salle Lipa about engaging in and learning Mathematics. It presents the change in beliefs of the students particularly those who did not intend to enroll in the said program. The views and feelings expressed by the subjects during a face-to-face interview reflect the kind of experience they have in school. The findings of the study indicate that (negative) beliefs of the students about pursuing mathematics as a program and learning the subject can change with the sound support of the school to provide an encouraging and learning environment. Such can eventually promote positive reception and achievement in the subject among the students.
The education in the 21st century focuses on knowledge and encourages students to generate information and encourage developing new skills. The framework of 21st century learning skill is communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and innovation. A cooperation skill in the world of education is an important thing to be done in learning. Therefore, a solution is needed to optimize student empower cooperation skills process by using the teaching material in the form of module. The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of inquiry based learning module to empower cooperation skills. This research was conducted in one of high school in Surakarta, Indonesia. The research method is quasi experiment, used pretest and posttest design by using two randomly selected classes those were experimental class used an inquiry based learning module and control one used a modules made by biology teachers in Surakarta. The results showed that there were significant differences of learning outcomes between the control and the experimental classes based on the independent samples t-test test results, also seen with the n-gain scores that obtained at 0.78 (middle) in the control class and 0.87 (high) in the experimental class. As the study concluded, using inquiry based learning module in the learning process in effective to empower cooperation skills.

Abstract: Problem-solving is one of the mandatory skills for students in the 21st century,
especially in physics subjects. This study aims to determine the students' ability to solve
parabolic motion problems, determine students' perceptions of learning in solving
parabolic motion problems, investigate the results of peer assessments carried out by
students, and determine students' perceptions of the implementation of peer assessment.
This research method uses qualitative research procedures with a phenomenological
approach. This research was conducted on 25 high school students in the Ende district.
The results of data analysis showed that the article met four indicators of problem-solving
ability according to Polya, namely understanding the problem, planning a solution, solving
the problem according to plan, and re-checking the evaluation results. The problem ability
of students in this study was obtained with the results of 53.06 being included in the
sufficient category. Future studies should give priority to providing instruction and training
before giving peer assessment.

Introduction
Problem-solving skills and strategies for solving them are the basic skills that students must
possess (Scherer & Beckmann, 2014; Shin et al., 2021). As a 21st-century skill, problem-solving link
conceptual mastery with students' practical skills (Freitas et al., 2004) and apply scientific reasoning
to ideas and problem-solving strategies (Park, 2020). Students who are creative, collaborative (Berge
& Danielsson, 2013; Jamaludin & Hung, 2017) and able to work together in social spaces (Pöysä-
Tarhonen et al., 2021) are characteristics of students who are able to solve problems (Bahar et al.,
2021; Spoon et al., 2021).
Students' problem-solving abilities can be improved by selecting suitable learning strategies
and models (Milbourne & Wiebe, 2018). For teachers, the learning model in question is crucial,
allowing students to participate in the learning process (Demirhan & Şahin, 2021). The use of
problem-based and project-based learning models is the teacher's choice in growing students'
problem-solving abilities (Tan et al., 2019).
The phenomenon of student involvement in learning so far has only been seen from the point
of view of the learning model used but not by giving an assessment (Alias et al., 2015). Student-based
assessment is the most widely used assessment model in measuring students' problem-solving
concepts (Alias et al., 2015; Fadhilah et al., 2019). Teachers more often use this form of assessment
to see the level of students' conceptual understanding (Sluijsmans et al., 2001). Teachers have not
