Data, even with fewer
words, speaks a lot.
It helps each and every industry in the
world right now by :-
• Understanding andTargeting Customers
• Improving Sports Performance
• Improving Science and Research
• Improving Security and Law Enforcement.
• Improving Healthcare and Public Health
But what if we could make data more
meaningful? More relatable?
What if we add human
context to the data that
we’ve got to create
narrative structures or
history taking single
pieces from the data
structures and
combining them?
Logic
Pattern
Human
Context
Visuals
Surely, it will build
empathy for the
people (whose
data is being
processed)
involved in the
systems.
That in turn will result in a Fundamental
respect which is currently missing in a
large part of technology
It needs to be understood
that data aren’t just
numbers, They carry
weight. They are pieces of
someone’s real life.
For example, PRIVACY
The Data of someone's location aren’t just
coordinates but are related directly to the
person’s safety and their right to privacy.
Hence, these data shall be viewed with a
human context.
How is it relevant to a
manager in India?
A manager while viewing data reports shall
not only pay attention to what he sees or
what is written on the report but shall also
try to understand the “why?” behind all the
data variations he notices. By
understanding the why of these variations,
he/she can make strategies for the future.
The application of human
context helps the manager
discover a correlation
between two parameters
that wasn’t earlier visible
while viewing the data set.
This correlation can be used
to make changes in the plan
of action so that the
company keeps progressing.
When the correlation is discovered. The
causation of this correlation shall be
determined.
All of this not only helps in the company’s progress but
also establishes a sense of empathy for the people of the
system. The people after knowing that they’re being
understood, connect better.

  • 3. It helps each and every industry in the world right now by :- • Understanding andTargeting Customers • Improving Sports Performance • Improving Science and Research • Improving Security and Law Enforcement. • Improving Healthcare and Public Health
  • 4. But what if we could make data more meaningful? More relatable?
  • 5. What if we add human context to the data that we’ve got to create narrative structures or history taking single pieces from the data structures and combining them? Logic Pattern Human Context Visuals
  • 6. Surely, it will build empathy for the people (whose data is being processed) involved in the systems.
  • 7. That in turn will result in a Fundamental respect which is currently missing in a large part of technology
  • 8. It needs to be understood that data aren’t just numbers, They carry weight. They are pieces of someone’s real life.
  • 9. For example, PRIVACY The Data of someone's location aren’t just coordinates but are related directly to the person’s safety and their right to privacy. Hence, these data shall be viewed with a human context.
  • 10. How is it relevant to a manager in India?
  • 11. A manager while viewing data reports shall not only pay attention to what he sees or what is written on the report but shall also try to understand the “why?” behind all the data variations he notices. By understanding the why of these variations, he/she can make strategies for the future.
  • 12. The application of human context helps the manager discover a correlation between two parameters that wasn’t earlier visible while viewing the data set. This correlation can be used to make changes in the plan of action so that the company keeps progressing.
  • 13. When the correlation is discovered. The causation of this correlation shall be determined.
  • 14. All of this not only helps in the company’s progress but also establishes a sense of empathy for the people of the system. The people after knowing that they’re being understood, connect better.
