1. The process of cattle feed manufacture is
comparatively simple process once the
formulation of feed mixture is arrived at.
2. The final mixture contains uniformly same
proportion of the ingredients even in smallest
possible sample.
3. To attain uniformity in concentration, a
mixture of ingredients is to be ground to fine
mesh and mixed thoroughly.
4.This mixed powder can be used directly for
feeding. Alternatively, the mixed ground
material can be palletized.

• The success story of the diary scene in India
during the sixties was the farmer owned Amul
Co-operative society at Anand in Gujarat, with its
integrated approach to production, procurement,
processing and marketing on co-operative lines
over the years
• . The efficiency of the project was worth to replicate.
Therefore, a dairy programme called “OPERATION
FLOOD” was launched in 1970 under the agencies of
National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) which
functioned as the technical consultants and Dairy
Corporation the funding agency.
• The cattle feed plant, which run by Kerala co-
operative milk marketing federation (KCMMF) had a
meeting with ministers in 1974.the meeting has
précised over by K.R .Gouriyamma, who, who was
the honorable minister of rural development in
kerala. Dr. Varghese, Founder of national diary
development board (NDDP) had asked to take the
project and to make an estimate for beginning the
cattle feed at Malampuzha.

• Milma produces and markets cattle feed. Milma has
the capacity of producing 600 metric tons of cattle
feed plant. Milma distributes the cattle feed through
Anand Pattern Co-operative Society and other
channel at relatively lower price.
• Milma have a range of products from wholesome
pasteurized milk to pure ghee, creamy butter,
nourishing sterilized flavoured milk, ice creams and
cattle feed. All the products are strictly adhered to
the PFA rules and are sent to the market only after
stringent quality checks.
• A marketing chain consisting of 1500 outlets,
across the state ensure accessibility of our products
to one and all. Our commitment to the quality of
milk that we deliver starts right at the doorstep to
the village producers. The products of cattle feed
plant, Malampuzha are cattle feed and milma min
(Vitaminised Mineral Mixture Cattle Feeds are sold
under the brand name Milma, Gomathi, Pellet,
Gomithra By Pass Protein, Govardhini Mash and
High Energy Feed.
LEARNING EXPERIENCE
1. The Internship training enabled me to gain knowledge of each and every
department.
2. I have gained more knowledge regarding various departments of organization.
3 . It helped me to convert the theoretical aspects into practical one also helped to
know more about managerial functions.
4. It also helps to handle the employees.
5. Experience with quality testing of yarns made me to know the various quality testing
process.
6. Experience with building rapport the employees taught me inter-personal
relationship.
MANAGERIAL SKILLS DEVELOPED
* Learned about their planning, Form of selection and recruitment process for the company.
Through Such Process I developed Co-operation skill
* Learned about their tools and techniques for implementing the skills for the employees in
certain form of period.
On such process I developed my motivational skill
* In the production room , saw all grinding and mixing machineries inside in it.
In the department, I learned the technical skill
* Learned about their techniques for implementing the quality. They will be get tested both their
product and raw materials by the same process.
From the department I understood to valuing the raw materials
* Learned about their accounting statements and audit which they will be following in the certain
terms of the purposes.
From the deparment I developed my accounting skill
* Learned about their procedures and functions regarding classifying on the products related to
certain schedules.
By the learning, I understood how to maintain goods
* Learned about their procedures for buying the raw materials under the such needs and wants of
them
On such basis I learned how to perform the tasks
* Learned about their activities Such as Sales promotion , Dispatch Sections and their Channels
of distribution.
On such basis I developed my communication skill
* Learned about their structure and positions of each of the members in the respective
department.
I Get developed my classifying skill in it
CONCLUSION
 The study conducted for the preparation of this project immensely helped me to
make out the practical significance of the theories taught in the classroom for
different management areas.
 It has provided an opportunity to have an insight into the working of this
undertaking. The study, as a whole has revealed that this plant set up under co-
operative sector is growing progressively and that it has a bright future.
 The Organisational study of cattle feed plant; Malalmpuzha has been
beneficial for me in all the aspects.it helps to familiarize with the practical side
of the organization. It provides me an overall idea different streams
management mainly personnel, marketing, finance, operations, etc. of the
organization.
