  1. Growth, productivity, R&D investment are serious issues to overcome We need platforms that free up knowledge as much as possible But plenty of external risk factors and concerns already constrain us Plus, workers swamped with other ‘health n safety’ issues too Instead, less friction, more ideas, change, even risk-taking (gulp)
  2. Plethora of choices and products ruling roost once again Constraints, like affordances, need to be ‘designed in’ from the start Thankfully, many platforms and software allow us to do this Even AI ‘bots’ can remove governance drudgery: tagging, workflow… Mostly Governance is an outdated overhead that cannot keep up
  3. Our work is seldom ‘embraced’; more rules don’t solve issue Instead, staff prefer many ways to find, navigate, complete, connect Our challenge is to use design & tech to ‘bake in’ or provide choices If encourage more autonomy – not less – we are on a winner Governance is a ‘solution’ looking for ‘problem’ long before its existed
