Axway’s Highly Available Distributed Architecture (HADA) is a multi-tiered
architecture that provides high availability and scalability to underlying
system middleware. Our first commercial delivery of HADA will be optimized
for our MFT gateway product SecureTransport (ST).

Service Availability
Goal is to provide a fault-tolerant,
uninterrupted service, that is least
impacted by system maintenance
schedules (planned), and disaster
recovery management (unplanned)
Data Availability
Ability to data/file replication
across multiple regions/data
centers
User Affinity
Enhance the ability of users /
partners from one location to
publish / consume data across
other locations / regions /
datacenters
High Availability for Distributed Architecture [HADA]

Multi-cluster
(A/A, distributed)
• Enterprises have several data centers spanned across the globe
• Failover/Recovery is cumbersome, and not reliable
• Load balancing across data centers is not possible

Stores all files and metadata on a S3 compatible
object store.
- Amazon S3, Ceph
Protocol listeners e.g. SFTP, HTTP etc.
Deployed in the DMZ
Establish connections from the internal network zone to
the Edges in the DMZ.
Authenticates users, stores files in S3 and notifies the
Processor
Pub/Sub type service to store and distribute payload
and file tracking-related events
- Kafka
Processing engine
Subscribed to events posted to the message broker and
processes payload

Q4 2018 – TP
• Updated AWS demo environment
Q1 - TP
• Support for Kubernetes (was
Swarm)
• Support for multiple LDAP
sources (+ SSH keys stored in
LDAP)
• Remove embedded DB from Edge
and Receiver components
Q2 - TP
• Failover improvements (auto
cross-DC failover, graceful ST
services shutdown)
• Centralized tracking (with
external tool e.g. Splunk)
• Performance profiling
Q3 – GA
• Cross-DC ST accounts
synchronization improvements
(based on accounts affinity and
incremental configuration data
updates)
• Support for AS2 protocol
Ready for Early Access/Technical Preview
