Badminton
Badminton is an indoor and racket sports.
•The court is divided into two halves by a net measuring 5 feet(1.5m).
•Equipment –racket

•Basic rules –
• When the shuttle hits the floor a
point is scored.
• The first team to win 21 points wins the game.
• When serving, the shuttle should be hit from below the waist in an underhand motion.
• Player is not allowed to touch the net with their body or their racket at any time.
Kho-Kho
•Kho- Kho is a traditional Indian sport.
•Total players – 12 (9 playing)
•The game has four quarters (9 min)
•The members of the running team run in a batch
of three.
•There are 8 players sitting in within the boxes facing alternatively.
•The chasers has to touch the runners within the rules.
•The chaser is not allowed to run over the centre lane or to change the direction .
•Each time a runner is touched , a point is awarded.
•The chaser can pass on his turn to any other sitting player by tapping from behind and saying “kho”
•Defenders can run in any direction during the play, but cannot exit the court.
Cricket
•Cricket is played between two teams made up of 15 players each. On field 11. one 12th man and 3 extra.
•The fielding team tries to get the batsman out by….
• Bowled – direct hit on the wickets.
• Stumping – when wicketkeeper hits the wicket if the
batsmen is out of crease.
• LBW – hitting the batsman’s leg in front of the wicket.
• Run out – hitting the wickets before the batsman can run to the other end of the pitch
• Catch out – when the ball is catch by any fielder directly after the shot.
• Hit wicket – if the batsmen himself drops the bails by any means.

Number of players
5 Players per each team
Positions
● The tallest player on the team usually plays “center” also known
as “position 5”, while the medium size ones play “forwards” /
“position 3 and 4”. The shortest players then play “guards” /
“position 1 and 2”.
