need to enable fast and easy binding of proteins 
to 1 μm magnetic particles in a one-step reaction. 
The kit is suitable for coupling a broad range of 
biomolecules including; peptides, antigens and 
antibodies. Coupled particles are compatible with 
a range of fluorescent and chemiluminescent 
assays.

standard covalent coupling without the handling 
limitations users experience with covalent 
coupling such as chemical instability and multiple

proprietary surface coating. 
The elimination of an activation step and pre-treatment 
of proteins allows users to design and 
generate novel and complex particle conjugates 
by incorporating more than one protein in co-coupling 
reactions.

Exceptional Stability 
Activated particles can withstand the following 
conditions: 
• Temperature: 1 hr at 60°C 
• Harsh chemical conditions: 1% Tween-20, 
50% DMSO, 4M Urea. 
Protein coupled particles are stable under: 
• pH extremes: pH 2- 10 
• Temperature: 1 hr at 60°C 
• Harsh Chemical treatments: ≤5% Tween20, 
≤0.05M EDTA, ≤1M NaCl, ≤8M Urea, ≤50% 
DMSO 
The Science Behind Mix&Go 
The surface chemistry incorporated into this 
product provides a novel approach for attaching 
fragile proteins to synthetic surfaces that is 
distinct to the traditional methods of passive 
adsorption and covalent binding. An aqueous 
cationic polymer, Mix&Go, forms functional 
protein mono-layers that are highly stable. 
Anteo Diagnostics has a suite of application 
specific reagents specifically formulated for 
improved performance on a range of synthetic 
surfaces. The AMG product line features products 
incorporating the Mix&Go chemistry.

Compatibility of AMG activated particles during 
coupling. AMG activated particles were either stress 
tested for 1 hr or coupled in the presence of the 
indicated conditions. Performance was assessed by 
binding to mouse IgG and assayed for loading capacity 
with goat anti-mouse IgG-RPE.

The AMG Coupling Kit has broad applicability and can 
be used to couple a range of proteins of different size. 
Actual loading will vary depending on the protein 
coupled, the size of the protein and the quantity of 
protein added to the coupling reaction. Abbreviations; 
mouse (mo), goat anti-mouse (GAM), rabbit (rb), goat 
anti-rabbit (GAR), human (hu) and goat anti-human 
(GAH).

The elimination of an activation step and pre-treatment of proteins allows users to design and generate novel and complex particle conjugates by incorporating more than one protein in co-coupling reactions.
